It was AFB's birthday on Saturday. Unfortunately, I was unable to attend the festivities. So to make up for it I decided to try and solicit him some ass on the internet. Learning new tricks

When it is slow at work, like it is today, I like to learn new tricks. Today (so far) I learned how to Podcast. If you don't know what a Podcast is by now you should be kicked off the internet.

That's 10 first timers & 7 return visitors. That's right I am watching you!! Now I am sure that I don't know 17 people who have the address to this. Fuck there aren't even 17 people that I communicate with on a regular basis. Besides my immediate family and co-workers I would estimate that there are about 6-9 people that I communicate with on a weekly to biweekly basis.



Now I don't give a shit if it is positive or negative as long as I get some feedback. To be honest negative feedback and conflict makes for better internet. I don't mean to sound like a female, but I am very proud of myself for finally starting figuring out CSS and no body even commented on the new layout. Just wait if I don't get some feedback I will post a shit load of pictures of my penis with some fruit and see what you think of that.

John Doe is Back

I was very happy to see that the SciFi Channel will be re-airing the one and only season of John Doe. It first aired in 2002 before Firefly and both shows are examples of a fine series canceled by FOX. Goddamit I am going to miss Arrested Development so much!

Although in the end by canceling Firefly they did inadvertently create the perfect show. The creator Joss Whedon was able to make the movie, Serenity in 2005 and give an ending to the short lived series. This was very satisfying to myself and other fans. The show was never able to get stale like many other FOX shows such as 24. After watching the 2 hour premier of 24 last night I can honestly say that I am sick of watching this bullshit.

Fuck this post was about John Doe, getting back on topic. The most compelling thing about the show to me is the idea of what can one accomplish if they know everything. Want to know the population of Peru in 1853? How many blue cars there are in the state of Washington? The exact ingredients in a box of Apple Jacks? Or better yet, predict which horse will win every race at the track based on knowing all the statistical variables? Doe has all the answers. There are 21 episodes total and I am looking forward to re-watching all of them, and in some cases seeing them for the first time. Seriously I thought the show was so good that it would be aired again before the 2nd season which of course never happened.

I listen to this song almost every Friday on my way into work. Not on purpose mind you but it occurred to me this morning that by shear coincidence I end up listening to this during my Friday morning commute.

Have I accomplished anything today?

I have been at work now for 7 painful hours. Having only about an hours worth of real work to do today I almost lost my fucking mind. Although I have probably billed out a good 8 hours worth of time to clients I was obviously much more efficient in actually completing their work. Otherwise I think I have read almost everything on the internet that is SFW and even some shit that was questionable. You can always check out some of my favorites at my del.icio.us page. Besides surfing through endless amounts of web sites I also created the new yellowblog header that you see above, of course like everything else that I layout I am not satisfied with it.

At this point I have also listened to roughly 151 songs today including an old Kinks album from 1979. The Kinks are a band that everyone had herd before through songs like You Really Got Me & Lola, but no body really remembers their name. I enjoyed it so much that I queued up 3 more albums including a best of compilation.

Now I am only going to sit here for another 20 minutes and punch out with an even 7 hours and 30 minutes put in today. Good thing I am going snowboarding tonight otherwise I would be sitting at home board to tears watching TV and reading the NSFW part of the internet. Instead I am going to try and jump something that I should probably not be jumping and hopefully not hurt myself.

Tomorrow is Friday and I expect to have even less to do then.

I have really been meaning to post something new, but I have been to busy watching my stats on Last•FM. Seriously it's addicting and all I really have to do is listen to shit loads of music like I always do. It even pulls the recently played tracks from my iPod.
